The Pollinator Plots

About Us

The Wooster Pollinator Plots began in 2020 with the establishment of the Pine Patch. This April, our project expanded with the addition of the College Garden. These patches intend to serve as landing pads for pollinators in the surrounding Wayne County area. Filled exclusively with plants native to Ohio, these plots are one of the few sites in Wooster that are dedicated to create awareness about pollinators.

While the research objective of the Pollinator Plots is to monitor pollinator diversity throughout time, the overarching goal of these gardens is to provide a safe space for students of the College and those in the local community to come hang out and learn about how to best engage with pollinators.

Bunnies are frequent visitors of the College Garden, be sure to keep a look out if you stop by!
